Mission:  “The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 to provide a means by which Catholic men could support the Catholic Church, provide financial protection to protect their families, and engage in works of charity to benefit the less fortunate.”

We are a Council (similar to a local chapter) of the largest Catholic Men’s Fraternal Organization in the world.  The Knights of Columbus have 1.8 million members worldwide while our local OLA Council #13562 has 66 members of whom about 25 are active members participating in council and Parish events.  One of the major objectives of our Knights of Columbus council is to support the pastor and the parish financially using profits from various fundraising activities and from the profits of ever-popular Pancake Breakfasts.  In addition, the Knights volunteer their time and talents and document their volunteer hours in 4 categories:  Church, Youth, Community, and Brotherhood
