In 1992, Parish Pastoral Councils were formed as an integral step toward the renewal of each parish within the wider context of the renewal of the Archdiocese. The renewal process has provided a vision of the contemporary experience of individual parishes and their parishioners, as well as of the Archdiocese as a whole.

The Parish Pastoral Council cooperates with all parish committees that address areas of parish life such as worship, spirituality, community, evangelization, education and service. The council is solely a consultative body that advises and assists the pastor in pastoral concerns. Our mission is to foster full participation of the entire parish in the life and mission of the parish and of the Universal Church.

The meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September through June. Members are elected either by fellow parishioners or by the pastor.
