From the Principal’s Desk

2020 News

To all Parishioners and Friends,

During these trying times, the administration, faculty and staff of Assumption Academy continue to work to support families with young children. The school building may be closed but, through cyber schooling and social distancing, the children are receiving lessons and materials to keep their little minds active and to help parents plan appropriate play for their children.

This is a whole new world for many of us, but sometimes these are exactly the times that bring out the best in people. The teachers at Assumption Academy are among the greatest around and they have found the most wonderful ways to stay in touch with their students.
How can we help you?

If you are looking for creative ways to keep your children active and engaged just send an email to describing your child and what you may need. Links and lessons will be sent for you to try.

If you have a family member who is elderly and might enjoy receiving a letter from one of the kids, please just email with that information as well.
Finally, if you are feeling overwhelmed by all of this please EMAIL! There is not an early childhood challenge we haven’t seen or been through and we are happy to help with things from behavior management ideas to mindfulness and yoga.

We are here for you…just as you have always been here for us.

God Bless and protect you all,

Patricia Welsh

We are so grateful for the support of the entire OLA Parish!
